BIU Resumption Date 2020/2021The management of Benson Idahosa University (BIU) has announced the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities. See the BIU Resumption Date below.

This is to inform all the fresh and stale students of the Benson Idahosa University (BIU)  that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for the commencement of 2020/2021 academic session.

BIU Resumption Date 2020/2021.

Benson Idahosa University is aware of and is monitoring the impact of a new strain of Covid-19 as well as NCDC and government/NUC pronouncements. These have informed the university’s latest position on resumption.

The new and tentative resumption guidelines are:

  1. January 11th, 2021 – Resumption of all staff 
  2. January 18th, 2021 – Resumption of all students

Please note that these dates may be further modified based on new NCDC as well as government pronouncements

We wish you safe travels and are looking forward to welcoming you back to campus when the hostels open on January 17th, 2021.

Therefore, parents and guardians should note that as part of the preparation for safe resumption in compliance with the NCDC protocol by the National Universities Commission (NUC), all students for the 2020/2021 academic session must come with the following

1. Five washable facemasks
2. Two face shields
3. Hand sanitizers
