FUOYE Diploma in Mass Communication Admission Form –This is to inform the general public that the Department of Mass Communication in the Faculty of Social Sciences of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti now offers a Diploma in Mass Communication as approved by the University’s Senate.
Sequel to this, the application is hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates who wish to undertake a Diploma in Mass Communication at the university.
About Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) Diploma Program
The two-year coursework and practical-oriented program aim to produce students who will be eligible for a degree or other certificate courses in Mass Communication and its adjunct departments. It also gives them (among other things) the needed training to equip them with skills in expressing ideas, attitudes, and feelings through a specific medium, as well as to give them an overview of the theories, models, elements, and indeed, progress of communication.
FUOYE Diploma in Mass Communication Admission Form Requirements & Duration.
Duration: The structure of the Diploma program consists of four semesters of the classroom, Laboratory, and Studio activities in the institution and a semester (3 – 4 months) of the Supervised Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).
Admission Requirements: Candidates are required to possess a minimum of Five (5) credits in G.C.E. (0 levels), SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB subjects passed at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Literature in English, Mathematics, and any two other relevant subjects.
