JAMB CAPS Portal is now open- The authorities of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have activated the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal where UTME and Direct Entry candidates can accept or reject their admission offers.
We have been having a lot of questions for our users on How to ACCEPT or REJECT the admission offer on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

That is why we took the liberty of creating this post to help admission seeker get first-hand information on how to go about accepting or rejecting admission on JAMB CAP.
Before we look into the topic, properly let us have a proper understanding of what the JAMB CAP is all about.
What is JAMB CAPS?
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is geared towards ensuring quality control, transparency and credibility of the admission process.
In other words, the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is expected to make provision for a ‘market place’ in the JAMB portal where institutions can go and ‘request for students in Nigeria who score their cut off points.’
The system is designed in such a way that the institutions can only admit those who meet their cut off points. If a candidate fails to meet the cut off mark, that student would certainly be denied admission irrespective of the candidate’s connection.
Once a candidate has been offered admission, such candidate is required to do either of two things; to ACCEPT the admission or to REJECT it on JAMB CAPS portal. Successfully admitted candidates are advised to ensure that they indicate the acceptance or rejection of admission online and timely to enable the processing of their admission.
