University of Limpopo
The birth of the University of Limpopo (UL) was when the University of the North and the Medical University of South Africa merged to become the University of Limpopo (MEDUNSA) on January 1, 2005. UL is a big coeducational South African higher education institution that is officially recognised by the Department of Higher Education and Training of South Africa.

Turfloop Graduate School of Leadership (TGSL) was established in 1996. It is located in Edupark Campus in Polokwane, Limpopo Province, and across from the Peter Mokaba Stadium, which was one of the FIFA World Cup stadiums in 2010. The TGSL programmes are designed for middle and senior managers in a variety of industries (public service, civil society and corporate sector).
